Our sole purpose is to discover the truth about humanitarian issues in the supply chain and share that truth with the consumers who buy the products creating the demand for slavery and trafficking. It takes many thousands of dollars and hours to be able to do this.

Why make a contribution to our work? It takes a lot of hours and a lot of dollars to create and maintain this website. It is a labour of love to share our knowledge and the message about ethical consumption and how our buying choices have an impact on communities globally.

How will we use your contribution? Contributions we receive are used for travel costs associated with researching our stories and help people at the actual source. Over the rest of 2016 we have 2 trips planned - 1. we intend to travel to Thailand to investigate the fishing industry and support survivors of modern slavery in the seafood supply chain, and 2. we intend to travel to the Philippines to work with our partner Datamotivate who recruit, train and develop meaningful career paths for members of the community who are vulnerable to trafficking and slavery. Your contribution helps us to undertake these projects and share these learnings with readers in a sustainable way.
